Database Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Developer with 3–4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance database systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in MySQL, have strong AWS RDS knowledge, and be comfortable using AI tools for enhancing database operations. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of both relational databases and emerging big data technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing efficient and secure databases to meet the company's data management needs.
  
  

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand database requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  
  

• Writing complex database queries, stored procedures, and triggers to extract and manipulate data as required.
  
  

• Conducting database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency.
  
  

• AWS RDS knowledge is a must to monitor the daily RDS utilizations and thereby perform performance tuning.
  
  

• Ensuring data integrity and security through proper backup and recovery procedures.
  
  

• Troubleshooting database-related issues and providing timely resolutions.
  
  

• Maintaining documentation of database design, schema, and processes.
  
  

• Keeping up to date with emerging database technologies and industry trends.
  
  

• Responsible for developing and implementing big data concepts.
  
  

• Involve in supervision activities where necessary.
  
  

• Should be familiar with MySQL and AWS cloud knowledge  is a must.
  
  

• 3 to 4 years of experience is sufficient but must have the following:
  
  

1. Experience using AI tools in the database department
   
   

2. Good communication skills – both oral and written
