PHP)

About the Role:
We’re
looking for a Freelance Full Stack Developer to work on an ongoing
project. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Python (with API
development) and PHP (CodeIgniter framework), with additional
exposure to AI tools—particularly Cursor AI.
You’ll
collaborate closely with our core development team to enhance existing modules,
build scalable APIs, and integrate intelligent automation where applicable.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and
optimize backend systems using Python (API development) and PHP
(CodeIgniter).
- Integrate and manage RESTful
APIs for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with front-end
and design teams to ensure seamless user experience.
- Implement AI-assisted
development or automation using Cursor AI or similar tools.
- Debug, test, and deploy
high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews
and ensure adherence to project standards.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience
in Python and PHP (CodeIgniter).
- Proven experience in API
design, integration, and deployment.
- Familiarity with AI tools,
preferably Cursor AI.
- Working knowledge of MySQL
or other relational databases.
- Good understanding of front-end
technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React preferred).
- Self-managed, proactive, and
capable of working in a remote, time-sensitive environment.
Nice to
Have:
- Experience with AWS
or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML
APIs or model integration.
- Knowledge of Git /
version control systems.
Contract Terms:
- Type: Freelance / Contract (3–6
months, extendable)
- Hours: 4–5 hours per day (UK
working hours)
- Start Date: Immediate
